strawberry house clinic

Interco Projects were appointed as the Principle Contractor for the fit-out of the Strawberry House Clinic in Hayes Kent. The building had previously been used as a bank and the clients brief was to transform the premises into a fully equipped orthopaedic surgery.

A number of rooms were to be converted into private treatment areas. A modern reception, waiting area, toilets and kitchen were also included in the refurbishment project. Interco Projects were fully responsible for the Project Management and the CDM co-ordination, continuously consulting with the clinics management team to ensure the project’s success.

the project

The work comprised of a full strip out of the existing building and construction of new full

height high performance drywall partitions which included curved walls and bulkheads made from GRG board. The entire premises were rewired and a new modern kitchen with integrated appliances was fitted. A new plumbing and central heating system was installed along with a comfort cooling air conditioning system; creating year round optimal conditions for treatment rooms. A Junckers engineered wood floor was fitted throughout the clinic and an Armstrong Ultima suspended ceiling, specifically designed for medical environments was supplied and installed. A full decoration package was carried out using Dulux Diamond Paint.

The £65k project was delivered as per the estimate and completed within the 6 week schedule.
