Interco Projects were appointed as lead sub-contractor in the fitting out of a new branch of the Allied Irish Bank in Finsbury Square, London.

The project was on the Ground floor of a multi-tenanted office building and consideration was given to the other tenants with regard to access and noise created.

Interco supplied and installed new suspended ceilings including a feature ‘Floating Raft ‘ in the reception area. Existing SAS metal ceilings were cut and adapted to suit the new mechanical and electrical services and also to the new full height partitions. As well as new British Gypsum Classic Gypwall partitions Interco built a new Safe room in blockwork that included steel sheet reinforcement behind a Gyplined finish

Bespoke Solid Core Oak veneered doors and solid Oak doorframes and skirting’s were manufactured here in the UK and the client asked for the existing doors to be replaced to match the new Oak doors, this was all managed and completed in the existing time scale.

The full height frameless toughened glass partitions were made to measure in the UK and supplied by Lizzanno Partitions.

Specialist Assa Abloy door furniture to meet the Banks own stringent security specification was fitted by the Interco carpentry team.

A new street entrance was created and Interco installed new York-stone steps and street furniture leading to the new entrance.
